The Evercookie, Extremely Persistent and Almost Irrevocable Cookies?

Security researcher Samy Kamkar has released a particularly interesting set of code (freely available) designed to create browser cookies that would take great deal of effort to delete. The Evercookie API, describe by Samy as "a javascript API that produces extremely persistent cookies in a browser. Its goal is to identify a client even after they have removed standard cookies, Flash cookies (LSOs), and others" has some very creative attributes and code behind it where the code generates a series of cookies that can survive multiple purges and even track a user between browsers.
